Some people think that media should not report details of crimes to the public.

          Some people think that journalists ought to be more careful and considerate about covering events connected with violence. Others believe that we have a right to know everything happening in our society.
          In my opinion, some details about crimes must be hidden. First of all, it is required to make us feel good. If we receive a lot of mournful news, we will not be happy. Secondly, the information, produced by mass media, is received by people of all ages. The audience includes kids, teenagers, adults and elderly people. Some information may do psychological harm to certain social groups.
          On the other hand, there are those who think that we must know absolutely everything from mass media sources. They believe that people have to decide for themselves whether to read chronicles about criminal cases on a full or selective basis.
          I totally disagree with this opinion. I think that some groups of people cannot screen out useless or harmful information due to their individual features. And this may lead to unintended consequences.
          In conclusion, I am strongly convinced, that mass media should not be uncontrolled. We need a well-built system of censorship which can save us from useless dramatic and worrying information.
