Some people are fond of watching soap operas; others prefer to watch other kinds of TV programmes.
          In my opinion, soap operas are not worth watching. There are a lot of reasons. To begin with, soap operas usually have a large number of series, so you need plenty of spare time to watch them. Secondly, the plot of the stories told in serials is very poor and often too primitive. It is a waste of time to watch them.
          On the other hand, there are those who think that soap operas are very realistic and enjoyable. They believe that some serials can teach you how to act in different life situations.  Besides, they say that you can forget about your life problems looking at some heroes’ lives and their actions.
          I totally disagree with them. I think that soap operas cannot teach you how to live because most of the stories told in serials are untrue and fake. It is dull to act according to heroes’ actions, to my mind.
          In conclusion, I am strongly convinced that if you want to spend your spare time with benefit you need to forget about watching soap operas.
